The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:
- Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
- Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword
- Keyword register: select an initial character and browse associated keywords

Acta Pharm. Sinica (Yaoxue Xuebao) 26, 953-955 (1991). TLC of naphthoquinones, deoxyshikonin, acetylshikonin, ß-ß-dimethylacrylshikonin on silica with hexane - acetone - chloroform 130:3:2 - and traces of acetic acid . Quantification of naphthoquinone by spectrophotometry at 523 nm after elution.
J. Chinese Herb Med. (Zhongcaoyao) 24, 207-208 (1993). TLC of the extract of the title materia medica on silica with petrol ether - chloroform - methanol 4:5:1. Detection by spraying with 5 % phosphomolybdic acid in ethanol and heating at 110 °C. Identification by fingerprint method.
Chinese J. Prev. Med. (Zhonghua Yufang Yixue Zazhi) 26, 238-239 (1992). TLC on silica with chloroform - acetone - formic acid 45:15:1. Detection by spraying with bromophenol blue and bromocresol green. Quantification by spectrophotometry.
Chinese J. Herb Med. (Zhongcaoyao) 25, 266-268 (1994). TLC of saponins on silica with 1) chloroform - ethyl acetate - ethanol - water 80:16:80:23, and 2) chloroform - methanol - water 30:10:2. Detection by spraying with 10 % sulfuric acid in ethanol and heating for 10 min at 105 °C. Discussion of the relationship between saponin composition in crude drugs and culture regions, etc.
