The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:

TLC on silica with ethyl acetate - methanol -25 % NH3 8:1:1 Detection by UV and with iodine. Spectrophotometry after elution. Main decomposition products identified: 1-naphtol, 4-cyclohexylamine-1,2-butandiol, 1-cyclohexenyl-3-pyrrolidinol.
(Assay of nithiocyamine in suppositories by TLC densitometry.) TLC of nithiocyamine on silica with benzene - chloroform 5:5.
(Simple qualitative determination of pharmaceutical active ingredients in urine.) Swiss Pharma 8, 6-17 (1986) Qualitative identification of 19 drugs by 1. isolation from the matrix, 2. separation from accompanying substances using TLC and 3. detection (i. a. via fluorescence and fluorescence quenching, chemical reaction. TLC on silica with toluene - isopropanol - NH3 3:6:1. Detection with trichlorobenzoquinone imine, Dragendorff reagent, diphenylcarbazonel mercury II, UV 366 nm.

J. of Medicinal Chemistry 31, 1021-1026 (1988). TLC of 7H-pyrido(4,3- c)carbazole on silica with isobutanol - pyridine - acetone - water 5:2:1:2, 2-propanol- ammonium hydroxide 7:3, isobutanol-ammonium hydroxide 17:5 and carbon tetrachloride - methanol 9:1.
J. Chromatogr. 409, 426-432 (1987). TLC of ellipticine, 9-hydroxy ellipticine and 9-methoxy ellipticine on silica with ethyl acetate - water - 1-octanol 17:2:2. Detection by fluorodensitometry at 290 nm excitation, 400 and 440 nm emission. Detection limits = 40, 80, 300 f mol for the three compounds, respectively.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 2, 77-79 (1989). HPTLC of urine extracts on silica with ethyl acetate - methanol - NH3 25% 85:10:5. Doping control by post-chromatographic derivatization. Esidrex and similar drugs as well as their metabolites are converted into azo dyes. Drug monitoring by densitometry. Determination limit of the method described is 0.2 mg/L and the sensitivity limit is 0.1 mg/L. The procedure allows the analysis of a large number of samples in a short period of time with minimal operating costs.
