The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. TLC of amisulpride, clozapine, olanzapine, quetiapine, risperidone, and ziprasidone on RP-18, RP-8, amino phase, cyano phase and DIOL phase in horizontal chambers with mixtures of phosphate buffer and six modifiers (acetone, acetonitrile, dioxane, ethanol, methanol, and tetrahydrofuran). Best separation on RP-8 with dioxane - phosphate buffer pH 3.51 2:3. Detection under UV light at 254 nm and evaluation by videodensitometry.

      A validated high performance thin layer chromatographic method for simultaneous estimation of ofloxacin and satranidazole in pharmaceutical dosage form

      J. Pharm. Res. 6 (4), 233-235 (2007). HPTLC of ofloxacin and satranidazole on silica gel with n-butanol - ethanol 5:5 containing 4 % ammonia. Densitometric analysis at 320 nm. The hRf value of ofloxacin and satranidazole was 54 and 83 respectively. Linearity was between 200 and 1000 ng/spot for ofloxacin and between 300 and 1500 ng/spot for satranidazole. Recovery was 99.1 - 99.8 % for both compounds.

      High performance thin layer chromatographic determination of carvedilol

Quantitative determination by absorbance measurement at 242 nm. Linearity was between 200-1000 ng/spot. The recovery was 98-102 %. The method was suitable for routine quality control of the drug in formulation.

      Development and validation of sensitive method for the quantitative analysis of glibenclamide, rosiglitazone maleate and metformin hydrochloride in an anti-diabetic combination by HPTLC

HPTLC of glibenclamide, rosiglitazone and metformin in combined dosage form on silica gel with methanol - tetrahydrofuran - water - acetate acid 40:9:10:1 with chamber saturation for 10 min. ThehRF values were 56, 60, and 80 for glibenclamide, rosiglitazone, and metformin respectively. Quantitative determination by absorbance measurement at 245 nm. The method was linear in the range of 200-1000 ng/zone (glibenclamide, rosiglitazone) and 120-600 ng/zone (metformin). Recovery was 0.97-99.3 % for all the three compounds. The method was suitable for simultaneous estimation of all three compounds in dosage form.

Quantitative determination by absorbance measurement at 262 nm. The method was linear in the range of 20-280 ng/spot and 50-700 ng/spot for trifluoperazine HCI and chlordiazepoxide. The method was suitable for routine quality control of combined dosage form.

HPTLC of atorvastatin calcium and fenofibrate on silica gel (pre-washed with methanol) with chloroform - methanol 4:1 over 20 mm with chamber saturation. The hRf value of atorvastatin calcium was 29 and of fenofibrate 77. The method was linear in the range of 200-1000 ng/band for atorvastatin calcium and 320-1600 ng/band for fenofibrate.
