      J. Planar Chromatogr. 29, 140-144 (2016). HPTLC of atovaquone (1) and proguanil (2) in tablets on silica gel with toluene – methanol – glacial acetic acid 40:10:1. Quantitative determination by absorbance measurement at 254 nm. The hRF values for (1) and (2) were 80 and 22, respectively. Linearity was in the range of 200-2000 ng/zone for (1) and 100-1000 ng/zone for (2). Intermediate precisions were below 1 %. The LOD and LOQ were 41 and 123 ng/zone for (1) and 31 and 94 ng/zone for (2), respectively. Recovery was in the range of 99.5-100.7 % for (1) and 100.1-100.8 % for (2).

      Anal. Sci. 33, 743-746 (2017). HPTLC of boric acid (1) and calcium fructoborate (2) on silica gel with 2-propanol – water 4:1. Detection by spraying with 0.1 % ethanolic chlorogenic acid solution. Quantitative determination by densitometry at 365 nm. The hRF values for (1) and (2) were 83 and 59, respectively. Linearity was between 0.2 and 0.8 μg/zone for (1) and 1 and 4 μg/zone for (2). LOD and LOQ were 50 and 160 ng/zone for (1) and 270 and 830 ng/zone for (2). The intermediate precision was <2 % (n=3). Recovery rate was between 98 and 102 %.

      J. Planar Chromatogr. 31, 235-242 (2018). HPTLC of lormetazepam on silica gel with acetonitrile – water 3:2. Quantitative determination by absorbance measurement at 241 nm. The hRf value for lormetazepam was 44. Linearity was in the range of 1.0-7.5 μg/zone. The intermediate precision was below 4 % (n=3). The LOD and LOQ were 0.26 and 0.77 μg, respectively. Average recovery was 100.9 %. Comparable results were obtained with a validated HPLC method.

Quantitative determination by absorbance measurement at 275 nm. The hRF values for (1) to (3) were 76, 46 and 12, respectively. Linearity ranged between 10-280 ng/zone for (1), 5-45 ng/zone for (2) and 1-20 ng/zone for (3). The intermediate precision was <2 % (n=3). The recovery was between 99.2 and 100.4 %.
