Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS
Our CCBS database includes more than 11,000 abstracts of publications. Perform your own detailed search of TLC/HPTLC literature and find relevant information.
The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:
- Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
- Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword
- Keyword register: select an initial character and browse associated keywords
- Search by CBS edition: Select a CBS edition and find all related publications
Registered users can create a tailor made PDF of selected articles throughout CCBS search – simply use the cart icon on the right hand of each abstract to create your individual selection of abstracts. You can export your saved items to PDF by clicking the download icon.

Measurement of the RM values of a series of antibacterial quinolones at pH 9.0 and 1.2 using a reverse-phase TLC system on silicone DC 200-impregnated silica and acetone, methanol or acetonitrile as the organic modifier of the mobile phase. Good correlations between experimental and extrapolated RM values. Investigation of the relationship of the RM values and the nature of the organic solvent, and between intercepts and slopes of the TLC equation in a series of congeneric compounds. Discussion of the factors affecting chromatographic congenerity.

TLC of porphine and its complexes with Cu(II), Ni(II), and Zn(II) on silica gel with chloroform - n-hexane 5:5, 3:2, and 7:3; and on RP-18 with methanol, methanol - water 9:1, ethanol, and ethanol - water 9:1 at 5+/- 2, 15+/- 2, 25+/-2, 35+/-2, 45+/2, and 55+/-2°C. Detection under white light. An increased temperature results in increased Rf values.
Study of components of hematoporphyrin derivative. J. Planar Chromatogr. 1, 371-372 (1988). OPTLC of hematoporphyrin derivatives on silica with acetone - ethyl acetate - water - hydrochloric acid 37% 200:200:20:0.04. Detection by densitometry at 400 nm.

HPTLC of 6 porphyrins (5,10,15,20-tetratolylporphyrin, 5-(4-methoxyphenyl)-10,15,20-tritolylporphyrin, 5,10-di(4-methoxyphenyl)-15,20-ditolylporphyrin, 5,15-di(4-methoxyphenyl)-10,20-ditolylporphyrin, 5,10,15-tri(4-methoxyphenyl)-20-tritolylporphyrin, 5,10,15,20-tetra(4-methoxyphenyl)-porphyrin) on diol modified silica gel with dichloromethane- ethyl acetate 97:3. Quantitation by densitometry at 420 nm. Convenient and accurate procedure.
Planta Medica 82,09/10, 910-918 (2016). After a fermentation process, the broths of psychrotolerant strains Vibrio splendidus T262 (isolated from the digestive tract of an Antarctic Ocean fish) and Arthrobacter psychrochitiniphilus T406 (found in penguin excrements in King George Island) were extracted with ethyl acetate and fractioned. To check the purification of new bisindole alkaloids from V. splendidus (turbomycines C-F) (1), and of A. psychr. (2-(indol-3-yl-methyl)indol-3-yl ethanol (2), TLC on silica gel (with water-resistant binders) with hexane – ethyl acetate 9:1 for (1) and dichloromethane – methanol 9:1 for (2). Evaluation before and after treatment with anisaldehyde reagent. Also preparative TLC on silica gel to isolate the following alkaloids from V. splendidus: monoindole: 4-(1H-indol-3-yl-sulfanyl)phenol (hRF 45 with hexane – ethyl acetate 17:3); bisindoles: 2,2-di-(3-indolyl)-3-indolone and 4-bis(1H-indol-3-yl)methyl]-cyclohexa-2,5-dienone (eluent not given); and trisindoles: trisindolal (hRF 58 with dichloromethane – methanol 9:1), metagenetriindole (hRF 45 with the same), and turbomycine A (not given).
J. Liq. Chromatogr. Relat. Technol. 33, 1038-1046 (2010). Linearity was in the range of 400-2400 ng/band. The recovery was 99.6-101.4 %. The sample was subjected to forced degradation (acid, alkali, oxidative, thermal, photolytic).
