The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:

Anal. Biochem. 271, 114-116 (1999). TLC of 10 to 20 (l of the assay mixture containing the SYBR Green II-bound reaction products AMP and ADP on silica with dioxane - NH3 - water 6:1:4. The resulting fluorescence image was directly scanned and quantitated.

TLC of tritiated adenosine and its derivatives on silica with butanol- acetone - acetic acid -5 % NH3 - water 9:3:2:2:4, butanol - acetone - acetic acid - water 11:3:3:3 and numerous other similar solvent systems. Identification of the 4 components by comparison with the standards. Discussion of using the procedure for simultaneous determination of the 4 components.
J. Chromatogr. A 1209 (1-2), 230-237 (2008). TLC of purines (adenosine and its major metabolites, inosine, and hypoxanthine) in rat brain tissue preparations, on silica gel with a two-step gradient mobile phase consisting of (1) n-butanol – water – acetonitrile - 10% ammonia - acetic acid 10:4:8:2:1 and (2) n-butanol – chloroform – acetonitrile - 10 % ammonia - acetic acid 10:4:8:2:1. Quantitative determination by absorbance measurement at 258 nm (via peak area). Application of the method to estimate the endogenous purines in discrete regions of rat brain. Development of a novel protocol for tissue preparation using 0.1 M HCl and 0.15 M NaOH solutions in 60 % methanol, which provided well-resolved peaks and high recoveries.

Identification of aminophylline, azathiopurine, mercaptopurine, thioguanine, xantinolnicotinate and their metabolites: 1-methylxantine, 1, 3-dimethylxantine, 1-methyl uric acid, 1, 3-dimethyl uric acid, thyoxantine, methylthyoguanine.
