The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:

(Thin-layer chromatographic enantiomeric resolution via ligand exchange.) GIT-Suppl. 3, 6-12 (1986). Separation of enantiomeric amino acids and dipeptides on reversed phase silica gel covered with a chiral selector (proline derivative). Typical developing solvents: methanol - water - acetonitrile 5:5:20 (running time 30 min) and 5:5:3 (running time 90 min).
Talanta 34, 438-440 (1987). TLC of 18 amino acids on silica with water - n-butanol - acetic acid 5:4:1. Detection by spraying with 0.1 % 9-iso-thiocyanatoacridine in dichloromethane or benzene, heating and examining under UV at 254 and 366 nm. Detection limit 100 ng. Details on preparation of the reagent.
Anal. Chem. 59, 2735-2736 (1987). TLC of the diastereomeric 1-fluoro-2,4-dinitro-phenyl-5-L-alanine amide derivatives of 22 amino acids on RP-18 silica with methanol - sodium acetate, and on silica with acetic acid - tert.butyl methyl ether in various proportions. Detection by fluorescence quenching. Comparison of the results of the two procedures.
Chomatographia 25, 435-456 (1988). TLC of DNP-amino acids on silica in different solvent systems, providing rapid resolution of 6-8 DNP-amino acids. The systems provide separations of DNP-ala/pro, Leu/phe and Leu/ile, which are difficult to separate by one- dimensional TLC.
(Analytical evaluation of garlic preparations.) (German). Deutsche Apotheker Zeitung 129, 2500-2504 (1989). TLC of alliin (S-allyl-L-cystein-sulfoxide) on silica with butanol - acetic acid - water 4:1:1. Visualization by spraying with 0.5% ninhydrin in methanol.
Chromatographia 29, 243-247 (1990). HPTLC of SBD-glutathione on silica with isopropylether – methanol – water – acetic acid 9:8:2:1. Enhancement of fluorescence by dipping into a solution of cyclodextrins in water, of Triton X-100 in toluene and of paraffin and n-alkanes in hexane for ca. 3 seconds. Fluorodensitometry. The impregnation lowers detection limits by about factor 2.
Chinese J. Food & Ferm. Ind. (Shipin Yu Fajao Gongye) (5), 75-78 (1992). TLC of agaritine on cellulose with butanol - acetic acid - water 65:15:25. Detection by spraying with a solution of p-dimethylaminobenzaldehyde in methanol. Detection limit 0.05 µg/spot. Comparison with HPLC and ion exchange column chromatographic methods.
