The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. TLC of selected drugs (dexamethasone, prednisolone, furosemide, vancomycin, amikacin, fluconazole, digoxin, captopril, dipyrone, metoprolol, and sildenafil) on silica gel with acetonitrile - water 2:3 with chamber saturation for 1 h. Detection of L-arginine and its metabolites by spraying with a 1 % ethanolic solution of ninhydrin, followed by heating at 60 °C for 15 min. Additional detection by exposure to iodine vapor.

      TLC assay of L-carnitine in dietary supplements

      J. Planar Chromatogr. 25, 450-455 (2012). HPTLC of L-carnitine in dietary supplements on cellulose with methanol - water 5:1 + 1 drop glacial acetic acid. Detection by spraying with ninhydrin reagent. Quantitative determination by absorbance measurement at 420 nm. The hRf of L-carnitine was 65. Linearity was in the range of 10-40 µg/zone. Limits of detection and quantification were 3 and 8 µg/zone, respectively. Precision (%RSD) was below 1.6 %. Recovery was in the range of 99.5 and 103.6 %.

To monitor the sorbent phase purification of a chloroform subfraction of the sponge Myxilla incrustans, TLC of fractions on silica gel with dichloromethane – methanol – formic acid 900:100:1, detection with Dragendorff’s reagent. The four positive fractions were purified by preparative HPLC, yielding three new N-acyl dopamine/dehydrotyrosine glycosides: myxillins A, B and C._x000D_
