Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS
Our CCBS database includes more than 11,000 abstracts of publications. Perform your own detailed search of TLC/HPTLC literature and find relevant information.
The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:
- Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
- Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword
- Keyword register: select an initial character and browse associated keywords
- Search by CBS edition: Select a CBS edition and find all related publications
Registered users can create a tailor made PDF of selected articles throughout CCBS search – simply use the cart icon on the right hand of each abstract to create your individual selection of abstracts. You can export your saved items to PDF by clicking the download icon.
J. Chin. Trad. Med. (Zhongguo Zhongyao Zazhi) 22, 159-162 (1997). TLC of terpene lactones, ginkgolid A, B, C (GA, B, C) and bilobalide (BB) on silica with toluene - ethyl acetate - acetone - methanol 50:25:25:3. Detection by exposure into ethanolic anhydride for 30 min and heating at 160°C for 30 min. Quantification by densitometry at 365 nm. Detection limit 0.25 µg, 0.5 µg, 0.5 µg, 0.5 µg, respectively. Comparison of the results with those obtained by HPLC. Recoveries 96.9 - 98.7%.
mairei ew tazettine-type alkaloids from Galanthus gracilis and Galanthus plicatus subsp. byzantinus. Planta med. 65, 356-359 (1999). Preparative TLC of (3E,7E)-2a,10b,13a,20-tetraacetoxy-5a-hydroxy-3,8-secotaxa-3,7,11-trien-2-9-one, (3E,7E)-2a,5a,10b,13a-tetraacetoxy-20-hydroxy-3,8-secotaxa-3,7,11-trien-9-one, and (3E,7E)-10b,13a-diacetoxy-2a,5a,20-trihydroxy-3,8-secotaxa-3,7,11-trien-9-one on silica gel with hexane - acetone, hexane - ethyl acetate, and chloroform - methanol. Also analytical TLC; detection under UV and by spraying with 10% sulfuric acid followed by heating.
Planta med. 68, 813-817 (2002). Analytical and preparative TLC of calcaratarin D and E on silica gel with n-hexane - ethyl acetate 23:2 and 43:7 by 2-fold development. Visualization under UV light at 254 nm and by spraying with 10 % molybdic acid reagent followed by heating.
CBS 87, 13-15 (2001). HPTLC of antioxidants on silica gel with cyclohexane - ethyl acetate 49:1 containing 2 mg/mL butylated hydroxytoluene over a distance of 25 mm after preconditioning with solvent vapor for 5 min. Quantitative determination by absorbance measurement at 442 nm.
Asian Journal of Plant Sciences 9(1), 44-50 (2010). Beta-sitosterol is one of the major phytoconstituents in cornsilk (style and stigma of Zea mays Linn.). An HPTLC method for the standardization of cornsilk as a bioavailable source of beta-sitosterol is reported. HPTLC of methanolic extracts of dried cornsilk and plasma of rabbits (1 h after injection of plant slurry) on silica gel with toluene - ethyl acetate - methanol - glacial acetic acid 80:10:5:3 with chamber saturation for 30 min. Detection by treatment with Liebermann-Burchard reagent. Beta-sitosterol was well resolved with an hRf value of 48. Quantitative determination by fluorescence measurement at 366 nm. The method was suitable for the pharmacokinetic study (absorption - elimination). The study confirmed the bioavailability of beta-sitosterol from cornsilk, which is therefore a potential natural source of beta-sitosterol.
Planta Med. 83(03/04), 334-340 (2017). Preparative layer chromatography on silica gel was used to isolate, from flash column subfractions of ethyl acetate extracts of Lepisanthes senegalensis stem or roots: a) with chloroform – ethyl acetate 3:37 an acetyl-caffeoylbutelin from stem; b) with hexane – ethyl acetate 4:1 two coumaroyl-22-hydroxy-hopanes from root; c) with dichloromethane – ethyl acetate 19:1 a caffeoyl-lupeol from root.
III. Cafestol und Kahweol. (Determination of cafestol and kahweol in coffee.) TLC of cafestol and kahweol on silica impregnated with 1,2-propanediol - methanol 1:2, with toluene - cyclohexane 60:40. Detection by dipping into 10 % ethanolic phosphomolybdic acid for 1.5 min, drying and subsequent heating at 95 °C. Quantification by densitometry (absorbance at 630 nm).
Biochemical Systematics and Ecology 16, 17-21 (1988). TLC on silica with benzene - ethyl acetate 1:1. Visualization by spraying with sulfuric acid - acetic acid - water 4:80:16 and heating at 120°C.
