The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:

Separation and quantitative determination of sesquiterpene lactones in complex plant mixtures with different solvent systems: e.g. CCl4 - acetonitrile 8:3, benzene - hexane - acetonitrile 3:2:2.1, benzene - hexane - ethyl acetate 3:2:2.1, hexane - ethyl acetate 7:3, CCl4 - acetonitrile -chloroform 9:3:1. Densitometry by absorbance.
Biochemical Systematics and Ecology 15, 313-320 (1987). TLC on silica with chloroform - petrol ether - ethanol 5:4:1. Visualization by spraying with conc. sulfuric acid and charring overnight at 100°C.
J. of Medicinal Chemistry 31, 1872-1897 (1988). Purification of (73 compounds) 6- and 7-aminoacyl derivatives of 7-deacetylforskolin by TLC on silica with ethyl acetate - hexane 3:7, chloroform - diisoproyl ether 55:45 and ethyl acetate - petrol ether - triethylamine 44:66:0. 5. Visualization by spraying with anisaldehyde/sulfuric acid reagent and heating at 110°C.
Planta Med. 55, 548-550 (1989). TLC of 12ß-acetoxycoccinic acid, 12ß-hydroxy-coccinic acid, 12a-acetoxycoccinic and 12a-hydroxy-coccinic acid on silica with toluene - ethyl acetate - formic acid 80:20:0.1 or 70:30:0.1.
J. of Natural Products 55, 1454-1461 (1992). TLC of various sesquiterpene lactones on silica with toluene - ethyl acetate - methanol 80:15:5 or with petrol ether (bp. 62-72°) - ethyl acetate - dichloromethane - methanol 84:7:7:2. Detection under UV 254 nm or with phosphomolybdic acid. Also PTLC using same conditions but threefold development. Elution from the plate with dichloromethane - methanol 10:1.
Proc. 9th Internat. Symp. Instr. Chromatogr., Interlaken, April 9.-11., 171-177 (1997). HPTLC of taxol and related compounds (cephalomannine, 10-deacetyltaxol, 10-deacetyl cephalomannine) as dansyl derivatives on silica with cyclohexane - ethyl acetate - toluene - triethylamine - methanol 9:6:4:3:1. Quantification by densitometry at 254/>440 nm. The linearity ranges of the calibration curve of the fluorescent derivatives were 20-200 ng with regression coefficients greater than 0.99. Recoveries were 95.70-104,30% and the RSD were less than 4.5% for all the compounds by using the same overall procedure.

Planta med. 68, 647-649 (2002). TLC of ent-trachyloban-3ß-ol on silica gel with toluene - ethyl acetate - methanol 40:9:1. Detection by derivatization with anisaldehyde - sulfuric acid reagent.
