Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS
Our CCBS database includes more than 11,000 abstracts of publications. Perform your own detailed search of TLC/HPTLC literature and find relevant information.
The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:
- Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
- Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword
- Keyword register: select an initial character and browse associated keywords
- Search by CBS edition: Select a CBS edition and find all related publications
Registered users can create a tailor made PDF of selected articles throughout CCBS search – simply use the cart icon on the right hand of each abstract to create your individual selection of abstracts. You can export your saved items to PDF by clicking the download icon.
J. Agric. Food Chem. 46, 2055-2061 (1998). HPTLC of triterpenoid saponins on silica gel with chloroform - methanol -water 12:9:1.
1. Terpenoids. J. Agric. Food Chem. 50, 6295-6300 (2002). TLC of b-caryophyllene, caryophyllene oxide, a-guaiene sesquiterpenoids, a- and b-selinene on silica gel with hexane - ethyl acetate - methanol 60:40:1 or chloroform - methanol - water 73: 24:3. Detection by spraying with either anisaldehyde - acetic acid - sulfuric acid 1:100:2 or vanillin - sulfuric acid (8 mL ethanol is added to a cooled mixture of 0.5 g vanillin in 2 mL concentrated sulfuric acid) and heating.
Analytical Chemistry - An Indian Journal 8(4), 608-612 (2009). An HPTLC method is reported for estimation of lupeol and beta-sitosterol from the whole plant of Vernonia cinerea (Acanthaceae). Methanolic extracts of the plant were subjected to chromatographic analysis on silica gel with toluene - methanol 220:3. Derivatization with Liebermann-Burchard reagent. Densitometric evaluation at 366 nm. The plant was found to contain 0.49 mg/g and 1.4 mg/g of lupeol and beta-sitosterol respectively. The method was suitable for quality control of herbal raw material.
J. Ethnopharmacol. 197, 157-164 (2017). HPTLC of picroside I (1) and picroside II (2) in Picrorhiza kurroa on silica gel with ethyl acetate – methanol – acetic acid 46:1:1. Quantitative determination by absorbance measurement at 270 nm. The hRF values for (1) and (2) were 52 and 68, respectively.
J. Agric. Food Chem. 35, 519-524 (1987). TLC of conjugated forms of monoterpenoids, C13 norisoprenoids and phenols on silica with chloroform - methanol - water 7:13:8. Detection by UV.
J. of Natural Products 51, 249-256 (1988). TLC of eight phenylpropenyl esters on silica with hexane - ether 70:30. Detection under UV or by charring with sulfuric acid-dichromate solution at 150°C. Also GC. Three new compounds identified.
