The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:

Bol. Soc. Chil. Quim. 47, 61-66 (2002). HPTLC of cholesterol, triolein and phosphatidylcholine on silica gel by AMD with a gradient from chloroform - methanol - water 65:35:4 to diethylether - n-hexane 1:1 to n-hexane in 15 steps. Visualization by dipping in manganese(II) chloride reagent and heating at 110°C for 10 min. Quantification by densitometry at 366 nm/>400 nm. Recovery was found to be 99,4 %, repeatability and intermediate repeatability resulted adequate. Limit of detection (quantification) was 6,9 (21,2) ng for phosphatidylcholine, 2,6 (4,0) ng for cholesterol and 3,4 (8,7) ng for triolein.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 20, 327-330 (2007). TLC of beta-sitosterol on silica gel with toluene - ethyl acetate - glacial acetic acid 15:4:1 with chamber saturation for 30 min. Visualization by spraying with anisaldehyde reagent and heating at 90 °C for 5 min. Densitometric quantitation at 525 nm.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 30, 181-187 (2017). HPTLC of guggulsterones E (1) and Z (2) in a polyherbal formulation containing Commiphora Muku on silica gel with toluene – ethyl acetate 4:1. Quantitative determination by absorbance measurement at 251 nm. The hRF values for (1) and (2) were 34 and 41. Linearity was between 0.2 and 1.2 μg/zone. LOD and LOQ were 43 and 132 ng/zone for (1) and 39 and 120 ng/zone for (2), respectively. The intermediate precision was below 2 % (n=3). Average recovery was 94.4 % for (1) and 97.7 % for (2).
Lipids 17, 515-518 (1982). TLC of acidic lipids on silica after column chromatography with chloroform - methanol - 0.25 % KCl 60:35:8. Detection with bromothymol blue. Zones scraped off. Elution of the indicator with chloroform - methanol 8:2 and of cholesterol glucuronide and ganglioside with chloroform - methanol 5:5.
J.A.O.A.C. 70, 496-498 (1987). TLC on silica, impregnated with 5% phosphomolybdic acid in ethanol, with ether - heptane 55:45. Detection by spraying with phosphomolybdic acid reagent and heating at 120°C for 20 min.
Microchim. J. 40, 208-215 (1989). TLC separation of low-molecular weight cholesteryl esters such as cholesteryl formate, cholesteryl acetate, cholesteryl propionate and cholesterol from their mixtures with e.g. hexane - chloroform - ether - methanol - acetic acid - 92:1.5:6:0.5:0.2. Detection by dipping in cupric acetate - phosphoric acid - water solution (30 g of cupric acetate in 80 mL phosphoric acid and diluted to 1 L with water), followed by heating at 130 °C for 5 min.
(Hungarian). Elelmiszervizsgalati Közlemenyek 40, 9-16, (1994). TLC of ß-sitosterol on silica with benzene - acetone 8:2. Detection under UV 365 nm after spraying with 2,7-dichloro-fluorescein.
Planta med. 66, 67-69 (2000). Analytical and preparative TLC of b-sitosterol, stigmasterol, campesterol, b-sitostenone, stigmastenone, campestenone, stigmasta-3,5-dien-7-one, stigmasta-3,5-22-trien-7-one, campesta-3,5-dien-7-one on silanized silica gel with methanol - water 1:1. Detection under UV.
