The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:
- Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
- Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword

Neighbouring group participation V. (0-4) Neighbouring group participation and fragmentation in the 16-hydroxymethylandrost-5-ene-3,17-diol series. Acta Chimica 110, 429-440 (1982). TLC of 16-hydroxymethylandrost-5-ene-3,17-diol and isomers on silica with a) methanol - benzene 1:99, b) methanol - benzene 5:95, c) acetone - benzene - petrol ether 30:35:35. Detection with 50 % aq. phosphoric acid and by heating at 100 -120 °C for 15 minutes.

HPTLC of bile acid methyl esters on silica and octadecyl-bonded silica with different solvent systems, e.g. methanol - water 95:5, 9:1, 8:2; acetonitrile-water 95:5, 85:15, 75:25; hexane - ethyl acetate - acetic acid 20:10:0.5, 10:20:0.5, 10:40:2, hexane - isopropanol - acetic acid 50:10:1, 40:10:1, 30:10:1. late development with an appropriate solvent system for 6 cm. Detection by spraying with 0.5 % vanillin in sulfuric acid-ethanol 4:1 and heating at 100 °C.
J. Chromatogr. 355, 427-433 (1968). TLC of 7-carboxymethyl steroids on silica with a) hexane - ethyl acetate 3:7, b) benzene -ether 6:4 or 3:7, c) hexane - ethyl acetate - dichloromethane 25:60:15 or 3:5:3. Comparison with HPLC.
J. Agric. Food Chem. 38, 979-981 (1990). TLC on prechanneled plates (with differing widths and preadsorbing spotting zone with hexane for 16 - 18 h in a developing tank allowing the evaporation of the solvent. After drying immediat development to a height of 12 cm in a tank saturated with a freshly prepared solution of 1.5 % methanol in benzene. Visualization under UV 254 nm. GC after extraction.
J. Chromatogr. 581, 119-128 (1992). TLC of zeranol and estradiol on silica with methylene chloride - methanol - 2-propanol 97:1:2. Detection by spraying with 0.05% aqueous solution of Fast Corinth V and exposing to NH3 vapor for 30 s. Investigation of several dyes for their chromogenic interactions with the compounds to improve the sensitivity and the selectivity, with Fast Corinth V being the best. Detection limit 2 ng.
Chromatographia 41, 175-177 (1995). TLC of steroids on NH2-bonded silica with chloroform - ethanol 19:1. Enhancement of the sensitivity of determination twofold by measuring fluorescence in situ after dipping the chromatogram into a mixture of hexane - paraffin 2:1, and/or using a filter cutting emission wavelengths below 400 nm. Detection limit about 5 ng/spot.
