The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. Detection by spraying with 0.05% aqueous solution of Fast Corinth V and exposing to NH3 vapor for 30 s. Investigation of several dyes for their chromogenic interactions with the compounds to improve the sensitivity and the selectivity, with Fast Corinth V being the best. Detection limit 2 ng.

      60th Indian Pharmaceutical Congress PA-197, (2008) HPTLC of medroxyprogestrone acetate in bulk and injectable dosage form on silica gel with toluene - ethyl acetate - ammonia 800:200:1. Quantitative determination by absorbance measurement at 240 nm. The linearity was in the range of 50-1800 ng/spot. Recovery was 100.1 %. In the stability test (acid, base, peroxide, thermal, photodegradation) the compound was well separated from degradation products. The method was suitable for routine quality control and for monitoring stability.

Detection with 10% sulfuric acid in methanol, followed by 3% phosphomolybdic acid in methanol.
