Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS
Our CCBS database includes more than 11,000 abstracts of publications. Perform your own detailed search of TLC/HPTLC literature and find relevant information.
The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:
- Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
- Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword
- Keyword register: select an initial character and browse associated keywords
- Search by CBS edition: Select a CBS edition and find all related publications
Registered users can create a tailor made PDF of selected articles throughout CCBS search – simply use the cart icon on the right hand of each abstract to create your individual selection of abstracts. You can export your saved items to PDF by clicking the download icon.
J. Chromatogr. 380, 235-237 (1986). Improvement of a previous method (elimination of phospholipid interference) for determination of bile acids in bile by extraction with methanolic phase. TLC of bile acids on silica with chloroform - methanol - acetic acid - water 65:24:15:9. Quantification by densitometry.
Chinese J. Pharm. Anal. (Yaowu Fenxi Zazhi) 13, 402-403 (1993). TLC of bile acids on silica with chloroform - ethyl ether - acetic acid 2:2:1. Detection with 10% phosphomolybdic acid in ethanol. Quantification by densitometry (absorbance) at 530 nm.
modulators
CBS 118, 1-4 (2017). Screening of steroids and selective androgen receptor modulators (SARMs) in bodybuilding supplements by HPTLC of methanedienone, ibutamoren, and ostarine on silica gel with n-heptane – ethyl acetate 1:1 (steroids) and dichloromethane – methanol 9:1 (SARMs) to the migration distance of 70 mm. Detection by immersion into (1) toluene sulfonic acid reagent (10 % in ethanol) followed by heating at 150 °C for 3 min, or (2) Seebach reagent (5 g phosphomolybdic acid, 2 g cerium sulfate and 12 mL sulfuric acid made up to a volume of 200 mL with water) followed by heating at 110 °C for 5 min. Detection under UV 254 nm, 366 nm and under white light. Densitometric evaluation by multi-wavelength scan at the respective absorption maxima. For example for the steroid testosterone the LOD was 8 ng/zone (absorbance measurement at 250 nm). Direct elution of target zones into the MS and analysis in positive ionization mode.
(Comparison of four different fluorescence-derivatization methods for quantitative thin-layer chromatography of testosterone.) GIT-Supplement 3/83, 8-16. Standardization and comparison of four different fluorescence-derivatization-methods for quantitative thin-layer chromatography of testosterone. In addition to a post-chromatographic derivatization with dansylhydrazine three prechromatographic derivatization methods (with isonicotinic acid-hydrazide, thermal derivatization methods on alumina plates and derivatization in NH4HCO3-fumes) are presented. The dynamic ranges are 0.2-10 ng/spot and 2-60 ng/spot.
Formation of B-norcholestane-6-formyl derivatives. Acta Chimica 115, 193-195 (1984). TLC of 6-formyl-B-norcholesta-2,4-diene; 6-formyl-B-norcholesta-.3,5-diene on silica with petrol ether - ether 20:1. Detection with 20 % perchloric acid.
Chromatographia 27, 565-568 (1989). Investigation of the retention behavior of steroids on silica and octadecyl-bonded silica with homologous series of esters and n-alcohols as mobile phase. Analysis of the electrostatic interactions in the systems by studying the relationship between the log (1/Rf) values and the molecular polarizabilities of the solvents.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 4, 223-225 (1991). HPTLC of diethylstilbestrol, 17ß-estradiol, testosterone, progesteron, trenbolone, zeranol on silica (after prechromatography with chloroform and hexane – ethyl acetate 95:5) with cyclohexane – ethyl acetate 1:1 or benzene – ethyl acetate 7:1. Visualization with a 20% solution of sulfuric acid in ethanol; quantification by densitometry (no details). Detection limit 1 - 2 ng; 5.6 for zeranol. Technique not suitable for the analysis of 17ß-estradiol.
