The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:

Lipids 17, 477-482 (1982). Preparative TLC of microbially produced metabolites of lithocholic acid and lithocholic acid-3 alpha-sulfate on silica with dichloromethane-methanol 95:5. Detection by spraying with anisaldehyde, followed by heating. The following metabolites were isolated: isolithocholic acid, 5 beta-cholanic acid, 3-keto-lithocholic acid, 5 alpha -cholestone and delta 3-cholenic acid.
Talanta 31, 489-495 (1985). TLC of cholesterol and lipid oxidation products on silica with several solvent systems. Detection by spraying with 1:1 mixture of conc. sulfuric acid and saturated aq. ceric ammonium sulfate solution and heating at 150 °C for 10 minutes.
J. Liquid Chrom. 10, 1291-1298 (1987). TLC of amniotic fluid and phospholipid standards on silica with chloroform - ethanol - triethylamine - water 30:34:30:8. Detection: after drying at 170 °C for 2 min. spraying with 10 % solution of copper sulfate in 8 % H3PO4, and 5 % copper acetate in 8 % H3PO4 and heating again at 110 °C for 5 min.; after inspection, heating up to 170 °-180 °C.
Chinese J. Adv. in Biochem. & Biophys. 15, 305-307 (1988) (Shengwu Huaxue Yu Shengwu Wuli Jinzhan). TLC on silica - ammonium sulfate with petrol ether - ether - acetic acid 82:18:1. Detection by heating at 180°C for 10 min. Quantification by densitometry at 580 nm. Comparison of the results to those by other methods.
J. Chromatogr. 446, 283-291 (1988). Investigation of TLC behavior of triglyceride mixtures on dimethyl dichlorosilan-bonded Kieselguhr with acetone - acetonitrile - water under different conditions. Study of influence of water content on separation. Prediction of the mobile phase composition for any triglyceride mixture according to the linear correlation between the partition number and the water content.
(Hungarian). Elelmezesi Ipar 43, 399-408 (1989). TLC of oleic, linolic and linolenic acids on silica with petrol ether - diethyl ether - acetic acid 80:20:1. Visualization by spraying with 5% phosphomolybdic acid in 96% ethanol.
J. of Natural Products 53, 1015-1018 (1990). Preparative TLC on silica with chloroform – methanol – NH3 7:3:0.5, followed by preparative TLC on RP-18 silica with methanol – water 4:1. Also purification of the acetylated derivatives by preparative TLC on silica with chloroform – methanol – water 20:3:0.5.
