The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:

Detection with conc. H2SO4 - diethyl ether 1:4, followed by short heating at 90 to 110 °C. Petroselinic, oleic, elaidic, erucic, brassidic acids and their methyl esters.
J. Chromatogr. 420, 411-416 (1987). TLC of phospholipids and fatty acids on boric acid-impregnated silica with chloroform - ethanol - water - triethyl amine 30:35:6:35. Detection of phospholipids by spraying with a solution of 5 mg primulin in 100 mL acetone - water 4:1 and examining under UV; detection of fatty acids by exposing to iodine vapour. Determination of fatty acids by GC after elution.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 1, 227-230 (1988). TLC of the fractions from flash chromatography separations on silica with chloroform - ethyl acetate 92:8, 98:2 and 90:10. Detection with rhodamine 6G or by charring with 50 % aqueous sulfuric acid and heating at 150 °C for 30 min. Also, HPLC.
J. Chromatogr. 450, 448-451 (1988). Investigation of the reaction products of lipase-catalyzed esterification and interesterification of lipids by TLC on silica containing 5% sodium carbonate with ether - hexane - methanol 60:40:3. Determination by toluene scintillation counter after scraping.
Bull. Chinese Trad. Med. (Zhongyao Tongbao) 13, 732-734 (1988). TLC of cholic acid on silica with chloroform - ether - ethanol 2:2:1. Detection by exposure to iodine vapor. Quantification by densitometry at 605 - 610 nm.

Identification of blood group A-active glycosphingolipids from human erythrocyte membranes by the combination of TLC and matrix-assisted secondary ion mass spectrometry (TLC/SIMS). Detection by TLC-immunostaining assay using anti-A antibody. Presentation of detailed information, such as molecular weight, molecular species, ceramide portion, and oligosaccharide sequence.
Anal. Biochem. 188, 5-8 (1990). TLC of glycosphingolipids on silica with a) chloroform - methanol - 120:70:17 containing 0.02% CaCl2. Detection by immunochemical method involving oxidation of diol groups of compounds with sodium peroxide, derivatization of formed aldehyde groups with an alkaline phosphatase-labeled polyclonal anti-digoxigenin antibody. Detection of the latter by an insoluble indigo-like dye as a result of dephosphorylation of 5-bromo-4-chloro-3-indolyl phosphate. Discussion of the detectability of all glycosphingolipid species.
