The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:

J. Planar Chromatogr. 2, 155-157 (1989). Extraction of serum lipids; separation of cholesterol palmitate, oleate, linolate and linoleate on HPTLC silica gel with carbon tetrachloride. Postchromatogr. derivatisation with phosphomolybdic acid in ethanol and heating 2 min. at 100°C. Densitometry by absorbance at 546 nm.
Biochemical Systematics and Ecology 18, 87-92 (1990). TLC of polar lipids on silica with chloroform – acetone – methanol – formic acid – water 100:40:20:20:8 in the first direction and with acetone – benzene – formic acid – water 200:30:3:10 in the second direction. Visualization by spraying with 10% sulfuric acid in methanol.
J. Liquid Chromatogr. 13, 3953- 3972 (1990). TLC of neutral lipids and phospholipids on silica with petrol ether - ether - acetic acid - 80:20:1 and chloroform - methanol - dionized water 65:25:4. Identification by comparison of Rf values of samples and standard, Semiquantification by visual comparison of the intensity of sample and standard. Discussion of the correlation of the amounts of the lipids in lettuce- and yolk fed snails with time.
J. Liquid Chromatogr. 15, 1655-1663 (1992). TLC of lipid classes on silica with petrol ether - toluene 8:2, 8 cm, and chloroform - acetone 95:5, 18 cm. Detection under UV 254 nm. Identification by co-chromatography against authentic samples. Semi-quantification by GC after elution with chloroform - methanol 1:1.
J. Liquid Chromatogr. 16, 1685-1693 (1993). HPTLC of granulocyte - specific glycosphingolipids, paragloboside and sialyl paragloboside on silica with chloroform - methanol - water 60:30:8. Detection by spraying with orcinol - ferric chloride reagent and heating. Densitometry, at 550 nm, or by immunostaining using monoclonal antibodies E5C2 and 534F8 and autoradiography. The method was used for monitoring the concentration of the granulocyte - specific glycosphingolipids paragloboside and sialyl paragloboside in amniotic fluid.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 8, 369 - 373 (1995). TLC of phospholipids (i.a. cardiolipin, N-acylphosphatidyl ethanolamine) on silica with 1. acetone and 2. 1-propanol - chloroform - ethyl acetate - methanol - water 50:50:50:21:18. Detection by immersion into aqueous thionine.
Phytochemistry 47, 599-604 (1998). TLC of various fatty acids on silica with ether - petrol ether - formic acid 70:30:1. Quantitative determination by phosphor imaging. Also TLC autoradiography of 14C-labeled compounds.
J. Liq. Chrom. & Rel. Technol. 22, 119-124 (1999). HPTLC of neutral lipids on silica gel with petroleum ether - ether - acetic acid 80:20:1. Detection by spraying with 5% phosphomolybdic acid in ethanol and heating for 20 min at 110°C. Quantitation by densitometry at 700 nm.
