The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:

TLC of xylose with acetonitrile - water 9:1 with chamber saturation at ambient temperature. Detection by dipping into 4-aminobenzoic acid reagent for 1 to 2 s followed by heating at 110 °C for 10 min. The hRf of xylose was 56. Quantitative determination by densitometric evaluation at 366 nm. The linearity determination coefficient was r2 = 0.9999. The recovery of xylose was between 102 and 106 %. The precision of a six-time preparation was 1.6 %.

HPTLC of the reaction products of 4-nitrophenyl β-D-glucoside (4NPGlc) with oleic acid, linoleic acid, and purified rice bran substrate catalyzed by rice transglucosidase Os9BGlu3 on silica gel with chloroform - methanol - 30 % ammonia 35:14:1. Detection by spraying with 10 % sulfuric acid in ethanol, followed by heating at 110 °C. The hRF value for the glucosyl conjugate was 53.

HPTLC of maltose, glucose and trehalose on silica gel pre-impregnated with sodium bisulfite (0.1 M) and citrate buffer using triple development with acetonitrile - water 17:3 or ethyl acetate - acetic acid - methanol - water 12:3:3:2. Detection by spraying with 1-naphthol reagent and heating for 10 min at 110°C. Simple and sensitive method.

Detection by use of aniline - diphenylamine - phosphoric acid reagent. Densitometric quantitation at 540 nm.

Identification of sugars by co-chromatography with authentic standards.
