Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS
Our CCBS database includes more than 11,000 abstracts of publications. Perform your own detailed search of TLC/HPTLC literature and find relevant information.
The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:
- Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
- Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword
- Keyword register: select an initial character and browse associated keywords
- Search by CBS edition: Select a CBS edition and find all related publications
Registered users can create a tailor made PDF of selected articles throughout CCBS search – simply use the cart icon on the right hand of each abstract to create your individual selection of abstracts. You can export your saved items to PDF by clicking the download icon.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 33, 463-472 (2020). HPTLC of chlorogenic acid in the fruit extracts of Lufa acutangula, Sechium edule, Trichosanthes cucumerina and Trichosanthes dioica on silica gel with ethyl acetate - chloroform - formic acid 12:8:1. Quantitative determination by absorbance measurement at 254 nm. The hRF value for chlorogenic acid was 55. Linearity was between 200 and 1000 ng/zone. Intermediate precision was below 2 % (n=3). Recovery was between 99.7 and 99.9 %.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 33, 341-352 (2020). Review of TLC and HPTLC methods for the analysis of mangiferin in plant sources and formulations. Qualitative and quantitative TLC methods as well as bioanalytical and bioautographical methods were reviewed.
Phytochem. Anal. 31, 57-67 (2019). HPTLC profiling of the leaves of Fraxinus excelsior on silica gel with ethyl acetate - water - formic acid 8:1:1. Qualitative identification under UV light at 254 and 366 nm. The hRF value of chlorogenic acid was 90.
Planta Medica 84(9/10), 710-715 (2018). The fractionation of an n-butanol extract of Cistanche phelypaea (Orobanchaceae) aerial parts through cyclodextran column chromatography with methanol was monitored on TLC silica gel with chloroform – methanol – water 70:30:3, detection by spraying with cerium sulfate reagent. In the 11 major fractions obtained, 4 new phenylethanoid glycosides were further identified, as well as brandioside (a phenylpropanoid glycoside), and heterosides of apigenin (flavonoid) and of pinoresinol (lignan).
J. Planar Chromatogr. 33, 179-189 (2020). HPTLC of plumbagin in the roots of Plumbago zeylanica on silica gel with toluene - ethyl acetate 3:1. Quantitative determination by absorbance measurement at 270 nm. The hRF value for plumbagin was 64. Linearity was between 400 and 1200 ng/mL. Intermediate precisions were below 1 % (n=3). The LOD and LOQ were 1 and 3 ng/zone. Average recovery was found to be in the range of 99.8-100.2 %.
Planta Medica 84(1), 26-33 (2018). For the monitoring of the multi-step fractionation through VLC (vacuum liquid chromatography) of the chloroform-soluble parts of a methanol – water 7:3 percolate of Hippophae rhamnoides (Eleagnaceae) fruit peels, TLC on silica gel and RP-18, detection by spraying with sulfuric acid and heating. Preparative TLC on silica gel with cyclohexane – dichloromethane – methanol 5:15:1 to isolate, from VLC subfractions, three lignans (nectandrin B, fragransin A2, saucernetindiol) that are diastereoisomers of each other.
Planta Medica 83(17), 1329-1334 (2017). Two acetone-soluble subfractions of an n-hexane maceration of Hypericum denudatum aerial parts (Hypericaceae) were submitted to repeated centrifugal planar chromatography (CPC) on silica gel using n-hexane – ethyl acetate (gradient from 100:0 to 90:10), obtaining four dimeric acylphloroglucinols (denudatin A, hyperbrasilol A, uliginosin B and isouliginosin B), which were purified by crystallisation with n-hexane – dichloromethane 9:1. From the most apolar CPC eluates, a monomer (selancin A) was isolated on preparative TLC silica gel layer by elution with n-hexane – ethyl acetate 97:3. Furthermore, all the purification steps were monitored through TLC on silica gel with n-hexane – ethyl acetate 19:1 or with n-hexane – dichloromethane 1:1. Detection under UV light after derivatization with anisaldehyde – sulfuric acid, monomeric acylphloroglucinols appeared purple, whereas dimers appeared yellow-orange.
Int. J. Morphol. 37, 1164-1171 (2019). HPTLC of transresveratrol in traditional fermented soybean seed coat on silica gel with chloroform - ethyl acetate - formic acid 25:10:1. Qualitative identification under UV light at 254 and 366 nm. The hRF value for transresveratrol was 64.
