The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:
- Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
- Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword
- Keyword register: select an initial character and browse associated keywords
- Search by CBS edition: Select a CBS edition and find all related publications
Registered users can create a tailor made PDF of selected articles throughout CCBS search – simply use the cart icon on the right hand of each abstract to create your individual selection of abstracts. You can export your saved items to PDF by clicking the download icon.
Quantification after elution by fluorescence spectrophotometry at 360 nm excitation and 510 nm emission.
Anal. Biochem. 163, 27-35 (1987). TLC of various glycosphingolipids on silica coated with a thin film of poly (iso-Bu methacrylate). Plate placed in a chamber containing metabolically radiolabelled cells, sealed and centrifuged to bring the cells into contact with the surface of the plate. Development of the cell adhesion blocked by a solution of N-acetyl-glycosamine in various solvents. Detection by autoradiography. Detection limit, 8 pmol.
J. Chromatogr. 431, 431-437 (1988). TLC of chlorinated phenols on silica with a) benzene - methanol 95:5, b) petrol ether - benzene 1:1, c) hexane - acetone 30:10, d) benzene - chloroform 70:30 and e) hexane - benzene - ethyl acetate 6:4:1. Detection by spraying with ammoniacal acetone solution of silver nitrate and exposure to UV light for 5 min. Combination of TLC and GC methods.
Anal. Biochem. 175, 258-262 (1988). TLC of tetrodotoxin and related substances, anhydro tetrodotoxin and tetrodonic acid on silica with pyridine - ethyl acetate - acetic acid - water 15:5:3:4. Identification by fast atom bombardement MS. Detection limit, 0.1 µg.
Anal. Biochem. 185, 151-155 (1990). HPTLC on silica with chloroform – methanol – 0.2% CaCl2·2H2O 55:40:10. Incubation with an enzyme mixture and a radioactive sugar nucleotide, followed by washing with phosphate buffer 2% Tween 80. Determination of the radioactivity using a liquid scintillation counter after scraping, or by autoradiography. Some application examples.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 4, 226-229 (1991). HPTLC of hippuric acid, phenolphthalein and its glucuronide, paracetamol and its sulfate on silica with chloroform – ethanol 3:2. Detection under 254 nm UV. MS after removal of the appropriate areas of silica.
