Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS
Our CCBS database includes more than 11,000 abstracts of publications. Perform your own detailed search of TLC/HPTLC literature and find relevant information.
The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:
- Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
- Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword
- Keyword register: select an initial character and browse associated keywords
- Search by CBS edition: Select a CBS edition and find all related publications
Registered users can create a tailor made PDF of selected articles throughout CCBS search – simply use the cart icon on the right hand of each abstract to create your individual selection of abstracts. You can export your saved items to PDF by clicking the download icon.

J. Chinese Trad. Patent Med. (Zhongchengyao) 20 (5), 11-13 (1998). TLC on silica gel with 1) chloroform - ethyl acetate - methanol - formic acid 400:50:100:2, 2) methanol - acetone - chloroform - NH3 6:8:26:1, 3) chloroform - methanol 5:1, 4) cyclohexane - ethyl acetate 1:1. Detection 1) by spraying with 5% vanillin-sulfuric acid reagent and heating at 105°C for 5 min, 2) by spraying with 0.5% ninhydrin in ethanol and heating at 105°C for 10 min. Identification by finger print technique. Quantitation of paeoniflorin by spectrophotometry at 230 nm after elution. Recovery 97.3 ± 1.1% (n=3).
Chinese Trad. & Herb. Drugs (Zhongcaoyao) 32 (15), 419-420 (2001). TLC on silica gel with petroleum ether (30-60°C). Detection by spraying with vanillin-sulfuric acid reagent. Identification by comparison with the standard.
J. Chinese Trad. Patent Med. (Zhongchengyao) 10, 807-809 (2004). TLC on silica gel plates with 1) chloroform - methanol - water 13:7:2, 2) chloroform - acetone - formic acid 25:10:4. Detection 1) by spraying with 10 % H2SO4 in ethanol and heating at 105 ºC, 2) by ammonia vapor and under UV 365 nm. Identification by fingerprint techniques. Quantitative determination of salidroside by HPLC.
J. Chromatogr. A 1526, 151-156 (2017). Development of a rapid and cost-effective method for determining brominated flame retardants (BFR) such as tetrabromobisphenol A/S (TBBPA/S) and their derivatives in soils, including TBBPA, TBBPA bis(allyl ether) (TBBPA-BAE), TBBPA bis(2,3-dibromopropyl ether) (TBBPA-BDBPE), TBBPS bis(allyl ether) (TBBPS-BAE) and TBBPS bis(2,3-dibromopropyl ether) (TBBPS-BDBPE), based on TLC sample pre-treatment coupled with HPLC-DAD at UV 214 nm. The LODs and LOQs were between 0.023-0.087 μg/g dw and 0.076-0.29 μg/g dw, respectively. The recoveries were between 41-108 % and both % RSD of repeatability and intermediate precision were < 11 %. The method showed a good performance for analyzing natural soil samples collected from BFRs industrial park, suggesting its great application potential for monitoring environmental TBBPA/S and their derivatives.
J.A.O.A.C. 71, 949-953 (1988). Reversed-phase TLC on octadecyl-bonded silica with methanol - water 7:3. Detection under UV 366 nm. After scraping and elution LC with fluorescence detection. Also direct in-situ spectrofluorometry. Comparison with a standard packed column method.
Application to the separation of asiaticoside and madecassoside from Centella asiatica. J. Chromatogr. 558, 446-450 (1991). Description of direct coupling of high-speed counter-current chromatography with thin-layer chromatography as an efficient method for the on-line monitoring of the column effluent. Use of the method to separate asiaticoside and madecassoside from a crude extract of centella asiatica.
Chromatographia 41, 267-272 (1995). Description of the quantification of 10 trans- and 9 cis-octadecenoic acid by the combination of argentation TLC of methyl esters of fatty acids on silver nitrate impregnated silica with hexane - ether 9:1. Detection by spraying with 0.2% 2,7'-dichlorofluororescein in isopropanol. Quantification by GC after elution with ether.
