The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:

Anal. Chim. Acta 196, 259-265 (1987). TLC of the products of enzyme reaction of lysine, ornithine and glutamic acid decarboxylases on silica with acetone - 33% aqueous dimethyl amine - isopropanol 18:25:56. Evaluation by radioactivity linear analyser connected to a computer based on a simple modification of the integrated Michaelis-Menten equation. Direct fit of the experimental points to the equation by iterative techniques, the validity of which is tested on the simulated data.

Description of imaging scanner providing quantitative results with concise reports of peak position, peak area and percentage of total activity, graphic output for visualization of radioactivity distributions. Precise location of compounds, and quantitative evaluation of 2-dimensional TLC separations. Labo 21, 7-12 (1990). Description of an additional method for quantification in planar chromatography offering qualified quantitative analysis before, with or instead of HPLC with one or many samples simultaneously. The instrumental requirements can be compared with HPLC.
J. Chromatogr. 607, 159-162 (1992). Device for densitometry of horizontally arranged TLC sheets, and comparison with two other devices. Densitometry at 225, 275 and 520 nm in reflectance and transmittance on silica and RP-18 sheets. Presentation of the results of an application to the determination of aspartame.
Selected application: lower alcohols, tryptophan enantiomers, gold and platinum. J. Chromatogr. A 746, 261-268 (1996). TLC of lower alcohols on cellulose with butanol - NH3 30 % 1:1. Detection by spraying with 5% NiSO4. TLC of tryptophan enantiomers on cellulose with 1M NaCl and 40 mM a-cyclodextrin solution at 7°C. Detection by exposure to iodine vapor. TLC of gold and platinum on cellulose with 2.5 M HCl. Detection by spraying with 1M Na2S. Quantification by videodensitometry. Comparison with previous TLC method.
Chromatographia 53 (5/6), 321-322 (2001). TLC on silica gel with toluene - acetone - methanol - NH3 50:30:5:1. Quantitation by slit scanning densitometry at 312 nm and video densitometry at 366 nm. Comparison of the results obtained by the two methods.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 17, 164-168 (2004). HPTLC of flupirtine maleate on silica gel with ethyl acetate - methanol - 25 % ammonia 17:2:1 in a saturated developing chamber. Then the developed plate must be dipped for 2 s in 1:3 paraffin - hexane. Dipping increases the fluorescence tenfold and preserves the fluorescence stability for hours. Presentation of a new formula for transforming fluorescence measurements in accordance with Kubelka-Munk theory. The fluorescence signals, the absorption signals, and data from a selected reference are combined in one expression. Only diode-array techniques can measure all the required data simultaneously. The fluorescence calibration curve was linear over the range 300 to 5000 ng per spot.
Phytochem. Anal. 24, 303-308 (2013). HPTLC of chicoric acid (1), chlorogenic acid (2) and echinacoside (3) in commercial Echinacea products on silica gel with ethyl acetate - formic acid - acetic acid - water 100:11:11:17. Qualitative identification under UV 366 nm. Images were quantified and transformed into chromatograms, as signal intensities (peaks) versus hRf (retention factor) for a artificial neural network (ANN) correlation. LOD were 19, 46 and 29 ng/band, whereas LOQ were 63, 154 and 98 ng/band for (1), (2) and (3), respectively.
