Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS
Our CCBS database includes more than 11,000 abstracts of publications. Perform your own detailed search of TLC/HPTLC literature and find relevant information.
The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:
- Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
- Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword
- Keyword register: select an initial character and browse associated keywords
- Search by CBS edition: Select a CBS edition and find all related publications
Registered users can create a tailor made PDF of selected articles throughout CCBS search – simply use the cart icon on the right hand of each abstract to create your individual selection of abstracts. You can export your saved items to PDF by clicking the download icon.
J. Chromatogr. 351, 383-387 (1986). TLC on silica with chloroform - methanol 9:1. Detection by spraying with 0.5 % p-chloranil in dioxane followed by DMF, or 0.5 % p-fluoranil in dioxane, or 0.5 % 2,5-dichloro-p-benzo-quinone in dioxane, followed by DMF or by 0.5 % 2,5-dichloro-p-benzoquinone in DMSO. Detection limit 0.5-4.0 mg.
J. Chromatogr. 437, 131- 137 (1988). Investigation of the effect of the temperature of a liquid crystal detector and the conditions of mapping TL chromatograms of limited detectability. Discussion of the optimum parameters and the possibility of applying the liquid crystal method to quantification.
J. Indian Acad. Forensic Sci. 29 (2), 3-8 (1990). A simple, sensitive and specific color reaction for the detection of carbaryl (detection limit 1µg) based on the condensation of ß-naphthol (product of carbaryl hydrolysis) followed by oxidation is described. Since other carbamate insecticides do not give the same red-violet color reaction it can be used routinely for specific detection in biological materials in forensic toxicology.
Analyst 119, 2761-2764 (1994). Description of a novel approach for the screening of title compounds by using matrix solid phase dispersion, a microcolumn preconcentration and TLC detection on silica with ethyl acetate. Visualization by spraying with fluorescamine solution and under UV 366 nm. Detection limit 100 ppb. Presentation also of the results from the industrial evaluation of the complete method.
Anal. Biochem. 269, 410-417 (1999). Quantitative analysis of glutathione (GSH) or of glutathione S-Transferase (GST) activity using a new fluorescent molecule, 5-(pentaflourobenzoylamino)fluorescein (PFB-F). TLC of the formed glutathione adduct, GS-TFB-F, and of excess PFB-F on silica gel 60F254 with 1-butanol - methanol - water 3:1:1. The GS-TFB-F adduct spots were quantified with a fluorescence plate scanner using the blue fluorescence/chemifluorescence (480 nm) mode. Detection limits for GSH and for GST activity were 10 pmol/(l and 1 ng/(l, respectively.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 18, 141-146 (2005). TLC of fatty acids (ethanoic, propanoic, butanoic, pentanoic, hexanoic, heptanoic, and octanoic acid) on silica gel with hexane - acetone 4:1 or acetone - water - chloroform - ethanol - aqueous ammonia 30:1:3:5:11 with chamber saturation for 30 min. Only bromocresol green, bromophenol blue, potassium permanganate, and methyl red can be used for the detection. Among the new visualizing agents dipping of the plates in an aqueous solution of alkaline blue enables the detection of the free fatty acids from propanoic to octanoic. Dipping generated better contrast regarding the spots than spraying.
Ind. J. Pharma. Sci. 72(5), 629-632 (2010). TLC of almotriptan malate on silica gel aluminum foil with butanol - acetic acid - water 3:1:1. Quantitative determination by densitometry in absorbance mode at 300 nm. The calibration curve was linear over the range of 100-700 ng/band for almotriptan malate. The method was successfully applied to the analysis of drug in a pharmaceutical form.
Anal. Biochem. 149, 480-483 (1985). Description of a simple visualization method for sulfolipids on TLC plate, based upon formation of complex between anionic sulfolipid and blue cationic compounds by spraying with an acidic solution of azure A. Detection limit 0.5 nmole of sulfolipids without interference from other lipids. Visualization of sulfolipids as clear dark blue bands on a light blue background after the unbound dye washed out by brief soaking in methanol.
