Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS
Our CCBS database includes more than 11,000 abstracts of publications. Perform your own detailed search of TLC/HPTLC literature and find relevant information.
The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:
- Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
- Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword
- Keyword register: select an initial character and browse associated keywords
- Search by CBS edition: Select a CBS edition and find all related publications
Registered users can create a tailor made PDF of selected articles throughout CCBS search – simply use the cart icon on the right hand of each abstract to create your individual selection of abstracts. You can export your saved items to PDF by clicking the download icon.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 14, 21-23 (2001). TLC of the DIPABTC derivatives of eight monoamines (adrenaline, b-phenylethylamine, histamine, noradrenaline, octopamine, serotonin, and tyramine) on silica gel in a horizontal chamber at 24°C with 15 mobile phases. Higher sensitivity was achieved when the colored derivatives were placed in HCl vapor resulting in deep red-brown spots. Simple and quick TLC method using a newly synthesized derivatization reagent.
J. Liq. Chromatogr. Relat. Technol. 30, 2171-2184 (2007) Modification of a commercially available printer for application of reagents in planar chromatography and investigation of optimal settings of the printer regarding utmost reagent transfer. Evaluation of the efficacy of printing. HPTLC of taurin in energy drinks on silica gel (prewashed with methanol) with ethanol - water 3:2 in a twin trough chamber. For post-chromatographic derivatization the cartridge of a commercially available printer was filled with a modified ninhydrin solution which was printed onto the layer, followed by heating at 100 °C for 2 min. Quantitative determination by absorbance measurement at 525 nm. The results obtained for analysis of an energy drink were as good as such obtained by derivatization by dipping.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 30, 216-218 (2017). HPTLC of monocrotophos on silica gel with n-hexane – acetone 4:1. Detection by spraying with freshly prepared sodium nitroprusside reagent (1 % sodium nitroprusside in 2 N sodium hydroxide). The hRF value for monocrotophos was 80.
J. Chromatogr. 358, 288-290 (1986). Description of the preparation of a spray reagent for TLC detection of aminophenols and related compounds by mixing a 5 % aqueous solution of ZnCl2 with an equal volume of 5% aqueous K3Fe(CN)6. Detection limit 2-5 mg.
Chromatographia 29, 467-472 (1990). Description of a new method for TLC detection of sugars on NH2-bonded silica layers, based on the experience in purely thermally induced fluorimetric detection of glucose and fructose. Application of the method for qualitative and quantitative detection of 20 carbohydrates on the plate with a mobile phase containing pyridine.
Japanese Oil Chem. (Yukagaku) 41, 1029-1034 (1992). Two-dimensional TLC of phospholipids. Detection by converting organic phosphate into inorganic phosphate, which is subjected to perchloric nitrate digestion thus forming an ammonium phosphomolybdate complex. Quantification after elution, by absorption measurement at 310 nm.
Anal. Biochem. 239, 238-245 (1996). Characterization of the sensitivity and specificity of SYPRO Orange protein gel stain and SYPRO Red protein gel stain with native and 2-dimensional polyacrylamide gels and for staining gels prior to Western blot analysis. Comparison with commonly used staining techniques. Demonstration of the application of the stains in monitoring protein induction in bacterial overproducing strains. Presentation of protocols to detect proteins with these dyes in native gels. Discussion of the effect of staining proteins in transfer buffer prior to Western blotting on the sensitivity of subsequent immunodetection.
Proc. Intern. Symp. on Planar Separations, Planar Chromatography 2001, pp. 113-126. Analytical OPLC of a 14C-labeled compound extracted from body fluids on silica gel with e.g. butanol - acetic acid - water 4:1:1. Detection by digital autoradiography.
