Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS
Our CCBS database includes more than 11,000 abstracts of publications. Perform your own detailed search of TLC/HPTLC literature and find relevant information.
The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:
- Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
- Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword
- Keyword register: select an initial character and browse associated keywords
- Search by CBS edition: Select a CBS edition and find all related publications
Registered users can create a tailor made PDF of selected articles throughout CCBS search – simply use the cart icon on the right hand of each abstract to create your individual selection of abstracts. You can export your saved items to PDF by clicking the download icon.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 11, 283-294 (1998). Examination of the retention of different groups of model substances - 16 phenols, 12 amines, 6 quinoline bases - on polar adsorbents - silica gel, alumina, and Florisil - developed with isoeluotropic eluents. The DRM (Dlogk, selectivity) parameters for different substituents of the compounds were compared as parameters of the energies of adsorption of the various chromatographic systems. The DRM values for substituents were correlated with their reactivity constants.
Sz. Nyiredy, A. Kakuk (eds.): Planar Chromatography 2000, Lillafüred, Hungary, 24-26 June 2000, Res. Inst. for Med. Plants, p. 183-193. The retention behavior of 7 monotetrazolium and 9 ditetrazolium salts were studied by spectral mapping technique. Tetrahydrofuran has the highest solvent strength while the differences among ethanol, 1-propanol, 2-propanol and dioxane were relatively low. The selectivity of tetrahydrofuran was different from those of others. Hydrophobicity and electronic parameters were equally involved in the retention strength and selectivity indicating the mixed character of their interaction with the alumina stationary phase and impregnated one.
J. Planar Chromatogr. B, 152-159 (2001). Review of the use of topological indices based on the adjacency and distance matrixes to predict the Rf and RM values, and the physicochemical properties of a variety of groups of organic compounds investigated by TLC. (131 references).
J. Planar Chromatogr. 17, 233-237 (2004). TLC of biogenic amines (dopamine, adrenaline, noradrenaline, 3-methoxytyramine, methanephrine, normethanephrine, vanillylmandelic acid, homovanillic acid, 3,4-dihdroxyphenylacetic acid, 3,4-dihydroxyphenylethyleneglycol, 3-methoxy-4-hydroxyphenylethyleneglycol) and methylxanthines (1-methylxanthine, 7-methylxanthine, theophylline, paraxanthine, theobromine, caffeine) on silica gel with mobile phases comprising a non-polar or weakly polar diluent (chloroform, heptane, or hexane) and a polar modifier (tetrahydrofurane, dioxane, acetone, or ethyl acetate). Examination under UV light or detection with a solution of iron(III) chloride (5 g) and iodine (2 g) in 50 mL of 20 % aqueous tartaric acid. Relationship between Rf values and mobile phase composition was investigated.
J. Sep. Sci. 33, 2619-2628 (2010). HPTLC of 33 newly synthesized arylpiperazines on RP-18 with 1) methanol - water (with increasing concentrations of methanol from 80-100 %), 2) dioxane - water (with increasing concentrations of dioxane from 60-80 %), and 3) dimethyl sulfoxide - water (with increasing concentrations of dimethyl sulfoxide from 80-100 %). In all cases the organic modifier was increased in steps of 5 %. Quantitative determination by absorbance measurement at 254 nm. A quantitative structure-retention relationship study allowed to understand the chromatographic behavior of similar compounds.
J. Liq. Chromatogr. Relat. Technol. 37, 2814-2828 (2014). HPTLC of arylureas and arylacetamides derivatives on RP-18 with 1-13 % water in dimethylsulfoxide (increment 3 %). Detection under UV 254 nm. A quantitative structure-retention relationship study allowed to investigate the retention behavior of these substances as well as determination of lipophilicity related to the biological activity towards dopamine D2 and 5-hydroxy-tryptamine receptors.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 29, 165-175 (2016). HPTLC of 15 steroid and phenanthrene derivatives on silica gel, RP-18 and CN phase with five binary mobile phases (acetonitrile – water, acetonitrile – dimethyl sulfoxide, acetonitrile – methanol, acetone – petroleum ether, and acetone – water). Quantitative structure‒retention relationships analysis showed the chromatographic behavior of the tested compounds.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 31, 250-256 (2018). HPTLC of fifteen 17β-carboxamide glucocorticoid derivatives and prednisolone on RP-18 with acetonitrile – water (1:1, 3:2, 7:3, and 4:1), acetone – water (1:1, 3:2, 7:3, and 4:1, and 9:1), ethanol 96 % – water (1:1, 3:2, 7:3, and 4:1), methanol – water (3:2, 7:3, 4:1, and 9:1) and tetrahydrofuran – water (1:1, 3:2, 7:3, and 4:1). The system consisting of water and ethanol 96 % was selected as the most suitable for the prediction of octanol – water partition coefficients (log Po/w).
