Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS
Our CCBS database includes more than 11,000 abstracts of publications. Perform your own detailed search of TLC/HPTLC literature and find relevant information.
The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:
- Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
- Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword
- Keyword register: select an initial character and browse associated keywords
- Search by CBS edition: Select a CBS edition and find all related publications
Registered users can create a tailor made PDF of selected articles throughout CCBS search – simply use the cart icon on the right hand of each abstract to create your individual selection of abstracts. You can export your saved items to PDF by clicking the download icon.
Adsorptivity of esters of Z- and E-2,3-diphenylpropenoic acids and similar compounds on silica in terms of the Snyder theory. J. Chromatogr. A 758, 135-144 (1997). Study of TLC of 8 Z and E esters of the type C6H5CH=C(C6H5)CO5R using 20 computer-selected mobile-phases on the basis of the Snyder theory, the mobile phases having strength e, equal to 0.165 or 0.250 and different values of localization, m and polarity, p'. Calculation of the energy of adsorption of all groups participating in the solute structures under selected conditions using the available values. Discussion of the adsorptivity and the retention using the ester group in combination with the configuration of the diastereoisomers, and of the tuning effect of p' on e and adsorptivity.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 11, 123-126 (1998). Determination of the lipophilicity and specific hydrophobic surface of thirteen amido esters of ethanolamine by RP-TLC on silica gel impregnated with a 15% solution of paraffin oil in dichloromethane. Development with water - methanol mixtures. Regular retention behavior was observed for compounds studied, their RM values decreased linearly with increasing concentration of methanol in the mobile phase. Visualization under UV 254 nm.
J. Liq. Chrom. & Rel. Technol. 22, 1-14 (1999). Review on the quantitative structure-retention relationship (QSRR) in TLC including a description of the establishment of QSRR, which is based on physico-chemical parameters, non-specific parameters, topological indices, and a combination of physico-chemical parameters. The application of QSSR for prediction of retention, determination of lipophilicity, evaluation of some physico-chemical parameters of chemicals, evaluation of biological activity of compounds, and explanation of separation mechanisms is also reviewed.
Chin. J. Chem. 18, 872-876 (2000). HPTLC of 19 N-(benzothiazol-2-yl)-a-amino alkyl phosphonic diesters on RP-18 with methanol-water mixtures, the concentration of methanol ranging from 75% to 90% in steps of 5%. Detection under UV. The correlation of the chromatographic parameters k' and Rf with the lipophilicity parameter (Clog P) was established. Rapid and simple method; alternative for lipophilicity measurement.
Part II. TLC of some phenols. J. Planar Chromatogr. 17, 9-13 (2004). TLC separation of some phenolic compounds (phloroglucinol, 2-aminophenol, 4-hydroxybenzaldehyde, 4-methoxyphenol, salicylic acid, phenol, 4-tert-butylphenol, 2,4-dichlorophenol, 2,6-dimethylphenol) on CN-phases, silica gel and polyacrylonitrile with 14 different mobile phases at ambient temperature in a HPTLC horizontal developing chamber. Detection by spraying with 0.05 % fluorescein solution in ethanol and subsequent exposure to UV light at 366 nm.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 18, 240-243 (2005). TLC of twenty-one N-benzyl-2-azaspiro[4.4]nonane- and [4.5]decane-1,3-dione derivatives on RP-18 with a mixture of n-propanol and TRIS buffer (pH 7.0) in a chamber saturated for 30 min. Detection under UV light at 254 nm. Examination of chromatographic behavior revealed a linear correlation between RM values and the concentraton of n-propanol in the mobile phase.
J. Liq. Chromatogr. Relat. Technol. 35, 1314-1324 (2012). HPTLC of 16 alkoxy-phenylbenzamide derivatives on silica gel pre-coated overnight with n-hexane - paraffin oil 19:1, with a mixture of organic solvent - water. The ratio of the organic solvent component (n-hexane, acetone, ethyl alcohol, methyl alcohol, and dioxane) changed in steps of 5 vol %. Quantitative determination by absorbance measurement under UV light (no wavelength given). Lipophilicity parameters (lipophilicity, extrapolated to zero concentration of organic modifier; specific hydrophobic surface area) were calculated from the retention data.
The effect of support and the organic phase in the eluent. Chromatographia 25, 908-914 (1988). Determination of the lipophilicity of some photosynthetic pigments by reversed-phase TLC on silica, alumina, cellulose, polyamide and diatomaceous earth with water - acetone and water - ethanol. Investigation of the effect of support and the organic phase in the eluent.
