Service Technician/Product Specialist (CAMAG Scientific Inc.)
Camag Scientific, Inc. is seeking a Service Technician/Product Specialist to join our team! You will work directly with customers to maintain/repair/qualify our specialized analytical instrumentation and software in a cGMP laboratory environment. You will also train customers on general use of our instruments and software.
Responsibilities:
- Install and qualify (IQ/OQ) High Performance Thin Layer Chromatography (HPTLC) instrumentation and software
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment at customer sites
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and calibrationsTrain users on how to operate our instruments and software
- Travel as needed to perform these tasks across the US/Canada (primarily in the Eastern US/Canada); up to 50% travel required
Qualifications:
- Previous experience troubleshooting/repairing analytical instrumentation
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Well organized and able to work independently
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Associate degree or higher preferred
