CAMAG announces the end of support for all winCATS versions, including version 1.4.10 for the end of 2020.
What does end of support mean?
winCATS is approaching the end of its support lifecycle. This means that as of 1 January 2021, there will be:
- No new winCATS CDs available
- No replacement winCATS CDs available
- No winCATS update available
- No winCATS EquiLinks available
- No technical support available
What should you do?
You as a customer have several options:
- Update to visionCATS latest version (last call)
For all customers in a controlled environment a must to assure data security and integrity
(check compatibility of instruments).
- Update to winCATS version 1.4.10 before 2021
Brings the winCATS installation to the last winCATS version. This is not recommended as the system is not supported and not protected anymore (check compatibility of instruments).
- Remain on the present winCATS version below 1.4.10
No support and no update to version 1.4.10 as of 1.1.2021
