Swiss Marketing Leadership Award 2015 – and the Winner is…CAMAG!


Muttenz, Switzerland – 29 September 2015  – CAMAG was elected out of more than 500 Swiss companies as the winner of the Swiss Marketing Leadership Award 2015. On the occasion of the 15th Swiss CRM Forum, held in Zurich on 15 September 2015, a high profile jury with members from industry and academia chose CAMAG as the winner of the Swiss Marketing Leadership Award 2015, based on a study made by ZHAW School of Management and Law.

The Swiss CRM Forum - the Marketing Leadership Conference - is the leading Swiss community event for innovative customer relationship management and new marketing. The annual one-day event provides a perfect meeting and knowledge platform all leaders with customer focus. The conference conveys marketing trends and perspectives on topics such as marketing leadership, customer relationship management (CRM), customer experience management (CEM) and digital transformation. “CAMAG was founded in 1958 in Muttenz and has been active in Thin-Layer Chromatography since 1961. CAMAG develops and manufactures both basic and high-end equipment and associated software for all steps of Thin-Layer Chromatography. CAMAG prevailed against many top performers in the Swiss marketing leadership study. The study will be released today and is available for free. By showing best practice marketing leadership on the performance as well as on the customer level, CAMAG has managed to achieve world leadership in a difficult market. On the performance level they have constantly expanded their offering with innovative products and evolutionarily maintained the existing product range. So they are revolutionary and evolutionary at the same time. On the customer level, they have pushed forward the customer acquisition and (think of the strong Swiss franc) successfully maintained existing customers under difficult conditions through geographic expansion and the development of new industries. At the same time, you are not only revolutionary and evolutionary, but also explorers and survival artist. CAMAG has prevailed, because the company exemplary works the four marketing areas which create value for the company. This is nothing less than marketing leadership. Congratulations.”
